Our Mission:

We unite to elevate the collective culture by committing to self-care, integrity, and respect, aiming to redefine our values and awareness while fostering a vibrant, regenerative community.

Embracing principles of zero waste, mindfulness, and connection, we cultivate a culture that supports growth, authenticity, and a thriving future for all.

Take care of oneself

Deepen one’s connection with oneself and each other

Respect and nurture our planet

Good things are built from the depths of our virtues and values, and when these established guidelines are ignored, the environment in which we live becomes toxic. Redefining the culture of our core institutions is necessary to avoid repeating patterns that hold us back individually and collectively.

According to Webster's 1828 dictionary, culture is defined as follows:

CULTURE (noun):

  1. The act of tilling and preparing the earth for crops; cultivation; the application of labor or other means of improvement.

    • We ought to blame the culture, not the soil.

  2. The application of labor or other means to improve good qualities in, or growth; as the culture of the mind; the culture of virtue.

  3. The application of labor or other means in producing; as the culture of corn, or grass.

  4. Any labor or means employed for improvement, correction, or growth.

CULTURE (verb transitive):

  • To cultivate.

As we reestablish our culture and virtues, we make necessary moves toward a solid foundation for ourselves, our children, and our community. This foundation does not grow without consistent attention, likened to hands and feet in the soil, building from the trenches. We are given free choice and personal will to build a life that is honest and regenerative.

Trash Talk:

  • Zero waste mission.

  • Composting.

  • Avoiding single-use food and drink containers and utensils.

  • Reducing packaging, including new camping gear and festival items.

  • Using reusable containers.

  • Being mindful of cigarette butts and vape accessories.

  • Being aware of napkin and paper towel usage.

  • Only bringing what one can use without waste.

Culture and Radical Self-Expression:

  • Restraints as opportunities:

    • Non-violence: Turns us from harming oneself and others to kindness and compassion.

    • Truthfulness: Turns us from lies and half-truths to expressing one's uniqueness and authenticity.

    • Non-stealing: Turns us from theft to cultivating new skills and abilities.

    • Non-excess: Turns us from greed to appreciation and pleasure without excess.

    • Non-possessiveness: Turns us from attachment to intimacy without possession.

  • Observances as invitations:

    • Purity: Invites us to cleanse one's body, speech, and thoughts.

    • Contentment: Invites us to fall in love with one's own life.

    • Self-discipline (self-love): Invites us to consciously choose discipline and growth.

    • Self-study: Invites us to know the self.

    • Surrender: Invites us to pay attention to what life is asking of us.

By embracing these principles, we can cultivate a thriving, respectful, and connected community.
